Back in September 2000, Z&D Medical kicked off with a simple but heartfelt mission: to keep medical equipment running smoothly for folks in long-term care. Our founder, David Gray, saw firsthand how much this meant—not just for cutting down maintenance costs and downtime for facilities, but for the residents themselves. They’d share how much it meant to know someone was looking out for them, making sure their equipment was in tip-top shape. That stuck with David, and it became personal. He made it his goal to always put patients and residents first, treating them like family with top-notch service.
Folks started calling David “Johnny on the Spot” because he’d drop everything to help, no matter the time or the problem. That hustle and heart rubbed off on everyone at Z&D, shaping a culture where we treat every patient like they’re one of our own. Twenty-five years later, Z&D Medical is still all about that same humble, caring approach. We’ve grown, added more services, and come up with new ways to improve healthcare for residents and patients, always aiming to make a real difference in their lives.
